Press Club and the Writer's Center. She is general
counsel to WIW, MidAtlantic Book Publishers
Association and other organizations, and was for six
years a member and then vice chair of the DC Bar's
Publications Committee, which oversees all Bar
publications and web site material.
She is a
1987 graduate of George Washington University’s National
Law Center. Prior to becoming a lawyer, she was an
independent writer/editor, working on numerous
presidential and congressional commissions and special
investigations, including the US House and Senate
Iran-Contra investigation in 1987-88. She is the
co-author of six cookbooks, The Pasta Salad Book,
Cold Soups, Hearty Salads, Enjoy! Make Ahead Dinner
Menus, Casseroles: Classic to Contemporary, and Pasta
Salad Light (all, Farragut Publishing, Inc.).
